Indy 500 DVD Available To Public; Brickyard 400 DVD Ships Sept. 12

The first in a series of Indianapolis 500-themed DVD's was shipped to customers starting Aug. 15 while a DVD focusing on the first 10 years of the Brickyard 400 will begin shipping Sept. 12.

Fans who ordered "Indianapolis 500: The 60's" now are receiving the DVD, which includes video highlights, special interviews and rare, never-before-seen archival footage of that special time in motorsports history.

The "Indianapolis 500: The 60's" DVD is the first product from a relationship announced May 22 between Shoreline Media Group (SMG) and Indianapolis Motor Speedway Productions, the Speedway's broadcast production company.

"A Decade at the Brickyard" will ship to customers starting Sept. 12. The video traces the popular Brickyard 400 from the historic first race in 1994, won by Jeff Gordon, to a behind-the-scenes coverage of the 2003 Brickyard 400, won by Kevin Harvick.

The Brickyard 400 DVD is a production of NASCAR Images and SMG, and is an officially licensed product of NASCAR and the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

Both DVD's are available for purchase online at SMG's Web site, www.sportsdvdheadquarters.com, or by calling (800) 856-4266.

SMG is a Santa Monica, Calif.-based home entertainment corporation specializing in the marketing and distribution of a wide variety of sports, entertainment and automotive titles via direct and specialty retail distribution.
