The colorful logo for the 2007 Allstate 400 at the Brickyard was unveiled Sept. 14 at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
The 14th annual NASCAR race at IMS is scheduled for Sunday, July 29, 2007, a new date one weekend earlier than the past date on the first weekend of August.
"This new logo captures the tradition and excitement of the Allstate 400 at the Brickyard and gives us another reason to be proud of our partnership with the Indianapolis Motor Speedway," said Pam Hollander, Allstate director of sponsorship marketing. "We look forward to another great race in 2007."
The logo, designed by IMS Creative Services and Allstate, features a color scheme of red, white, blue, gray and yellow, and includes the famed IMS "Wing and Wheel" and Allstate Good Hands® emblems.
"Unveiling the logo for our events at IMS is significant because it helps to create a unique identity for each race every year," said Joie Chitwood, IMS president. "We're pleased to present the new Allstate 400 at the Brickyard logo with our sponsor partner Allstate and are confident that the fans will like its bold, vivid look."
