Allstate, IMS Unveil 2008 Allstate 400 At The Brickyard Logo

Allstate Insurance Company has unveiled the official logo for the 2008 Allstate® 400 at the Brickyard®, one of the marquee events on the NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series schedule.

The sleek design showcases a classic look, featuring a navy blue and gold primary color scheme, along with the "Allstate" and "Good Hands®" logos.

Next year's race, scheduled for Sunday, July 27, will mark the 15th running of the event and the fourth year of Allstate's entitlement. Allstate is the first title sponsor of this historic race.

"Allstate is extremely proud to continue its entitlement of the Allstate 400 at the Brickyard for the fourth consecutive year in 2008," said Lisa Cochrane, Allstate's vice president of integrated marketing communications. "As the first-ever title sponsor for this race, we've enjoyed an excellent partnership, including some very memorable racing, over the last few years. The unveiling of the logo for the 2008 race embodies the excitement we have for our continued involvement."

The race logo will be used for all marketing efforts around the race, including tickets, advertising, multimedia, signage, merchandise and related promotional activities. It will begin appearing immediately on the official IMS Web site at www.indianapolismotorspeedway.com and on Allstate 400 at the Brickyard ticket mailings.

The 2007 race was special, as it marked ESPN's return to televising NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series racing after a seven-year absence. Fans in attendance at IMS and ESPN's national television audience were treated to a thrilling event, as Tony Stewart claimed his second career Allstate 400 at the Brickyard victory, climbing the catch fence in front of the start-finish line with his pit crew to celebrate the moment. Winners of the 2005 (Stewart) and 2006 (Jimmie Johnson) events went on to claim the NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series championship the same year.

Presently in its third year as the title sponsor for the Allstate 400 at the Brickyard, Allstate is proud to sponsor the annual NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series race at the world-famous 2.5-mile track. In April 2005, Allstate signed a multi-year agreement with the Indianapolis Motor Speedway as the title sponsor for the race.
