
The 15th annual Allstate 400 at the Brickyard on Sunday, July 27 will be the 20th of 36 events on the 2008 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series scheduled released Sept. 26.
The race's spot on the schedule remains unchanged from 2007.
Preceding the marquee event on the 2.5-mile Indianapolis Motor Speedway oval will be a race Saturday night, July 12 at Chicagoland Speedway. The last off weekend of the season will lead into race week at Indianapolis.
Following the Allstate 400 at the Brickyard is a race Sunday, Aug. 3 at Pocono Raceway.
Tony Stewart earned his second Allstate 400 at the Brickyard victory in three years in 2007. Indiana native and resident Stewart also won in 2005.
